Bringing Northwestern Athletics to Life
Northwestern University wanted to transform its arena into a more engaging environment for fans, students, and visitors while providing access to the rich history of its athletics programs. A series of large-scale interactive touch displays allows visitors to explore teams, athletes, achievements, and archival content through an intuitive digital interface. Designed specifically for large-format touchscreens in a physical environment, the experience combines UX/UI, information design, and visual storytelling to make a deep collection of content easy and engaging to navigate.

Turning an Arena into an Interactive Archive
The finished experience brings Northwestern’s athletic legacy to life in the physical space, giving visitors the freedom to explore stories and information at their own pace. A flexible interface system organizes a large volume of content while maintaining a consistent visual language across multiple displays and information types. By combining intuitive interaction with rich imagery and storytelling, the installations turn the arena into a dynamic extension of Northwestern Athletics, connecting fans with the people, moments, and achievements that have shaped its history.
